ELO在慢板抒情歌的編曲與和聲上相當出色。【Ticket to the moon 】這首歌的前奏好美！曾在一則評論中讀到＂Bleak＂這個字：蒼涼，十分貼切地點出這首歌的寂境氛圍。
Sony Music 在2013年曾發行ELO共11張CD的經典大全集（本週二又發行了一個5 CD的版本）， 團名譯為「電光交響樂團」，很怪吧？但ELO的確有大提琴和小提琴手，這應該是團名中有Orchestra（管絃樂團）這個字的由來。
